Lab Grown Diamonds
Lab grown diamonds are diamonds that are produced in a laboratory instead of being mined from the earth, making them eco-friendly. They are made using advanced technology that simulates the extreme pressure and temperature conditions that occur naturally in the earth’s mantle, which is where diamonds form. Lab grown diamonds are composed of the same material as natural diamonds – pure carbon – and they have the same physical, chemical, and optical properties as natural diamonds.

How are they Made?
There are two main methods for producing lab grown diamonds: High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) and Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD).
In the HPHT method, a small diamond seed is placed in a press that simulates the intense pressure and temperature conditions found in the earth’s mantle. Carbon is then added to the press, and the diamond seed grows as the carbon crystallizes around it.
In the CVD method, a small diamond seed is placed in a vacuum chamber along with a gas that contains carbon atoms. The gas is ionized, and the carbon atoms are deposited on the diamond seed, causing it to grow.
It's a Diamond. Now Figure Out How to Ask...
You select the style, shape of the diamond, and the color of the ring. We make sure you get the best quality diamond. No yellow, no spots, and blinding sparkle. That means you don’t need to become a diamond expert. That’s what we do. You worry about the most important thing “How are you going to ask?”
What's the Difference?
In terms of physical, chemical, and optical properties, lab grown diamonds are identical to natural diamonds. However, there are a few differences between the two types of diamonds.
First, lab grown diamonds are less expensive than natural diamonds of the same quality and size. Second, lab grown diamonds may have different growth patterns or inclusions then natural diamonds, that are not visible to the eye.
One of the main benefits of lab grown diamonds is that they are a Sustainable, Eco Friendly, Ethical alternative to natural diamonds. Mining diamonds can have negative environmental and social impacts, such as habitat destruction, pollution, and worker exploitation. In contrast, lab grown diamonds have a much smaller environmental footprint and are produced in a controlled environment that ensures fair labor practices.

Can you tell the Difference?
The simple answer is No, unless you have specialized equipment.
There are several methods for identifying lab grown diamonds. Gemological laboratories use advanced equipment to detect subtle differences in the growth patterns, inclusions, or chemical composition of lab grown diamonds. Additionally, specialized diamond testers can be used to distinguish lab grown diamonds from natural diamonds.
However, it is important to note that lab grown diamonds can be certified by reputable third-party organizations, such as the International Gemological Institute (IGI) or the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), Gcal, and others which provide additional assurance of their authenticity.
