Our Process
It sounds like you’re interested in getting a custom-designed engagement ring! Working with Gaia to create a unique and personalized ring can be a wonderful experience. Here’s a general outline of what to expect:
Before your appointment, spend some time researching different styles of engagement rings and gathering inspiration. Take lots of pictures! You can browse online, visit jewelry stores, or even look at family heirlooms for ideas. Bring pictures.
Contact Gaia and schedule an appointment. This ensures that you'll have dedicated time to discuss your preferences and vision for the ring. During your appointment, you'll sit down with the jeweler to discuss your ideas. Be prepared to talk about elements such as the type of metal (e.g., gold, platinum), the overall design aesthetic, any specific features or symbolism you want to incorporate, and your budget.
Based on your preferences, Gaia will create a design concept for your approval. This will be a computer-generated rendering. So you know exactly how the finished piece will look. This will take a few days. You'll have the opportunity to provide feedback and make revisions until the design aligns with your vision.
The master jeweler will then hand craft the ring according to the approved design. This typically takes about 2 weeks.
